About the Artist

I'm a Game Artist living in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Since I can remember I have been drawing all sorts of stuff but with a fascination for dark fantasy. I started studying Game Design and Development (HKU) and later on Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam. After I graduated Game Art at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) I started a company in the production of Serious Games; Hence Games. I experienced all aspects of the process of creating games from the acquisition to the service delivered afterwards. During this period I walked the paths of innovation and entertainment alike, encountering all sorts of valuable lessons. Subsequently I broadened my horizon towards Casual Games at Poki, Amsterdam. In a small team I created more than a dozen of games in 2,5 years, covering 2D, pixel and 3D games on different platforms and devices.
